Richelle Rouleau
About Me:
I am a student at Northern Arizona University working on getting a bachelor's in computer science, expecting to graduate in the winter of 2026. I have found that I really enjoy computer science. I like back-end development, which is what a lot of my classes have focused on, probably due to its difficulty, but that’s part of what makes it fun. I also enjoy front-end as well, as it is fairly easy, but designing things that people look at is kinda fun. I’ve taken a couple of classes on it, such as web design.
My hobbies include reading and writing. I really enjoy mysteries and sci-fi. I also took a class on story design for video games, which was a lot of fun. My other hobby is showing and breeding dogs. I have shown a very rare breed of dog called an Otterhound. I have championed one dog by myself and two others with help. One of those dogs comes from my own breeding program that I have had help from my mom with, as figuring out what to breed to what is not an easy task.
Projects:
My biggest projects are my capstone project, which is still in progress at this time, and the website that I have created so that my breeding program can sell puppies when we have another litter. In the video game writing class, we also had a major final project that I’m fairly proud of. I know there’s definitely room for improvement on that one for sure, but it’s in a good state.
